Buisness side of things.

Today was another low key Friday. It began with a trip down to proctor to have a meeting with development. This was great for me to see. It was my first true experience of business - client relationship. It helped me greatly understand that while I love video if i work in it I am working FOR someone no matter what whether that is a boss or the people I want to pay to go watch something.  After sitting in on the meeting and listen to points development wants to get across in a video I was given the day to work on my reel (a videographers portfolio) and to think about a possible production name and logo. I worked on a 3D text graphic for about an hour and a-half and then put some heavy thinking into a production name which my clutter thoughts got me almost no where.

i also met with my mentor and my fellow Mentoree Jake Hines for a lunch to catch up on how our project was going. We were all doing great and every thing was just fine and dandy. after lunch I got ready for my lacrosse game (or to take photos at my lacrosse game because i'm injured.) all in all a great day and very informative about the business side of Film and Video.
