Rendering.......

Started working: 9:10 AM    Finished working: sometime tomorrow

Today with the day off I took time to work on my video for the senior class which will be played at graduation. This at first seemed an easy task fix about 11 two second clips and put them back into final cut over their original counterparts and viola!  if only technology liked me that much. I woke up at 9AM so i had a little sleep in then began work on the first seven clips that needed to be fixed. i quickly fixed them (half an hour of work) and then set them to render while took a shower and went down to campus to run a few errands. (we will come back to this later)

I drove to campus and went to Diane's Physical therapy where I was greeted with a deal. I had asked Morgan to do me a favor and sit for an interview about her Senior project (working in Diane's physical therapy) as Ethney and I are working on a senior project video next after the cafe video goes up. She quickly informed me that she was not completely comfortable with being in front of cameras and I re-assured her that it was easy and nothing to worry about. I tend to give Diane a hard time when i am in physical therapy and pull her chain a little bit for a laugh or two. the deal Morgan made with me was that if for my whole session of physical therapy I could not complain, insult any one, make jokes about any one, or give somebody a hard time, Morgan would do the interview. (I think they really thought i couldn't do it)

I was in almost complete silence for the hour and 15 minutes of PT and the second i walked out turned around to crack a joke. (Morgan if your reading this i will see you next week.) After that torture was over i headed over to the theater to meet with my mentor Seth Currier and Jake Hines to go to lunch and discuss the progression of Jake and I's projects. Seths car (that will soon be featured in my flickr stream) was a HOT ride. A Volvo from when eight-tracks were popular. as any stylish man would he went black on black on black on black for those days you really want to burn some flesh. (literally everything in his car was black even the ipod cord was spotted black) and of course a spoiler to stop his car from from taking off like a space ship when he races. although thinking about it if that car hit 50MPH the car might disintegrate so i don't think he does much racing in it. (I wonder what the spoiler is for then....)

After a nice lunch I headed home to check my rendering and it seemed to have finished. however many of the videos that apparently had rendered fully were about 3 frames..... only 57 frames short....no biggy. so i set out to re render them. after effects was not cooperating so i had to fix it and now i am waiting on a MASSIVE render time. (roughly 2 hours and 20 min per 2 second clip.... X 7 clips....= 16 hours and 20 minutes) looks like this easy project i thought would take 2 hours max is going to be a weekend long venture.
